Week 23

Ok somehow this week went even faster than last, and now we're ending the transfer! I get transfer news tomorrow, but something tells me it's gonna be a big change so stay tuned...

This week was super fun but honestly a bit unproductive as far as missionary work goes hahaha. Since my companion goes home this week, she's got a lot of other things she has to get done and it's also just a little difficult in general to get a fire under a missionary who has almost finished their service lol. But we have had soooo many good laughs and she genuinely has become like my best friend here in the mission. Going to miss hna jimenez 😪😪

This week we had a baptism! Sebastian, whose parents are members but inactive, decided to make an eternal promise with God and it was awesome to be apart of. Also later that same day, we got to go to another area for the baptism of 3 of hermana jimenez's cousins and it was so tender! Had to speak last minute at both of the services, but it was chill and the Spirit was present and that's all that really matters 🌊💪

Honestly don't remember anything else from this week, just that we walked a ton because we ran out of money to take taxis. But, I'll leave you with one of my favorite mission-type scriptures:

D&C 24:12

"And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men."

God is awesome, and he can make us more than we ever thought we could be!!!
