Monte-alban 2.0
Week 67
Hey ya'llllllllll
Not a whole lot to report this week! Just a lot of the same all day everday, but here's a few highlights that are mostly pictures: 🔦
- hit up the ruins at Monte-Alban with the zone and it was 🔥🔥🔥 We had to fit 11 people in an Outback but we conquered. I love seeing Lamanite history yayyy
-our friend Victoria expressed a desire to be baptized and we are working with a baptismal date with her! But she didn't come to church. Everyone please pray that Victoria comes back from her pueblo 🙏
-hit up my second to last interview with President 🤯
-exchanges exchanges exchanges!
- this week we came across lots of older men and had some very interesting convos hahaha. One tried to guess my first name and said that I looked like a Laura (because I look Latina supposedly); another tried to take me to his pueblo, and another tried explaining extraterrestrials to us. I love being a missionary! Every day is such a surprise. You never know what your getting into hahah
- it was the 21st of September yesterday so we took yellow flowers to all the hermanas in our zones (iykyk)
Not a lot of time for a super thought out spiritual thought today, but here's a great classic verse from Alma vs. Korihor in Alma 30
"But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."
I KNOW THAT GOD LIVES. Everything points to His existence! I love sharing the restored gospel to people everyday and being able to share this simple truth. That HE LIVE and LOVE US.
I love you all! Sorry I've been horrible at responding recently but I promise I love you all 🫶🏼🫶🏼
HASTA LUEGO
-Hermana Stephenson
